Sognare means to dream. This hospitality brand was born from exactly that, a passion for the warmth and generosity learned through authentic moments at home, around a table, with family. What was once a dream is now real. Every design decision was made in service of that truth.
The most fitting expression of a dreamer's brand is poetry. Messaging follows a free verse format, short, intentional lines that breathe and land with weight. Typography mirrors this: Albra in Light and Italic, with hierarchy built through rhythm and placement rather than size or weight.
The logotype holds the same tension. Structured yet fluid, high-contrast letterforms that feel dreamy. The custom 'S' mark, extracted from the wordmark, carries the brand into its short-form moments with a memorable premium symbol.
Layout principles draw from Carte Napoletane, the Neapolitan playing cards woven through the brand's cultural DNA. Their decorative symmetry becomes a flexible grid guiding composition across print, digital, and environmental touchpoints.
Colour shifts with the venue itself. Stone, Pink, and Oak hold the warmth of daylight. Burgundy and Charcoal arrive with the evening.
Illustration extends the dream further, with the venue significance captured as evidence that what was imagined is now standing.
The brand poem, written for Sognare and placed throughout the menu, begins the experience before a dish is ordered:
'Around a table it began, joy born first from the meal, carried onward through stories, and laughter that filled the night.'
